to Place an Order:

You can e-mail misdirection@earthlink.net
or call us at the Shop (415) 566-2180 during normal business hours (Tuesday-Friday
11 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sunday 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Pacific Standard Time) with an order.

All we need is your address, a current credit card with expiration date
(we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and an e-mail
and/or phone number should we need to confirm your order/information.
We also can take a money order.
- 3.
We ship all over the world. For Domestic, our standard delivery method
is US Postal;Priority Mail (2-3 Days), and for Foreign, we use Global
Priority (2-5 days, depending on customs of the country). We also have
UPS, FedEx and Overnight services available. Shipping charges are exact
and depend on the weight and where your location is. We do not add any
extra charges. We will only charge you what the post office charges
us.

All California residents, please add 8.5% for for sales tax.

We will only charge what is being sent. All orders are usually sent
within 24 business hours, depending on when the order was placed. If
an item is backordered, we will not charge you. If an item is backordered,
we will call or e-mail you when the item is available. Most items are
in stock. We are a full line magic shop and have thousands of items.
Our website is only a fraction of the items we have.

6. All sales are final. There are no returns and exchanges unless items
are damaged, in which case, it will be exchanged for the same item.
You may always inquire about any magic items. Our knowledge and service
can help your purchase decisions be the right one. We are selling secrets
and cannot refund any items.

"In 1990 I walked into a large magic store in downtown London(real
easy to figure out), and behind the counter was an older gray haired man(again
easy to figure out). I was 20 years old at the time and a respectful young
man. The store was empty so I asked about a book for card magic. The older
man screamed, "well what books have you read on card magic." I said, "I
have read none sir, that is why I am asking you for a recommendation so
that I can start learning" The man rudely threw me out of the shop, when
all he needed to say was "Royal Road". It would be 12 years before I would
enter another magicshop, this time Misdirections in San Francisco. Not
all shop experiences are like the first one that I had, in fact I agree
with the original poster, the Internet is killing magic in so many ways.
For the past 2 years I have made the trip to my local store and paid much
higher prices for every single purchase in order to support the shop.

"Easy to Master Card Miracles #1 was the very first magic video I
ever bought, and it was really inspiring for me. I learned and used every
trick on that tape. I remember when I was in Misdirections Magic shop
in San Fransisco, I was hanging around, trying to decide what to buy.
At the time, I was in the state of mind that I needed every trick I did
to use a different type of prop, and that if I knew a couple card tricks,
I didn't need to get any more. (I have since changed that mindset obviously.)
