 The
magician tears a sheet of paper out of a notebook and places it on the
clipboard. He hands over a clipboard and pen to the spectator and turns
around. He then asks the spectator to write any word or mark, to fold
the paper in half and then hold the paper in their hand. The magician
takes back the clipboard and the pen from the spectator, then takes a
sheet of paper from the notebook and places it on the clipboard. The magician
writes his prediction . Finally, the spectator opens the paper, and both
are the same!

The Perfect Clipboard by Guy Bavli

Clairvoyant Clipboard
 EFFECT:
Simply stated, you hand a clipboard to a member of the audience and have
them jot down something on the paper clipped to it. They may jot down
a name, a number, a "doodle" or a fairly intricate design. You instruct
your volunteer to remove the sheet of paper they've written on and show
it to the audience. At the same time the clipboard is returned to you
and set aside. After the volunteer's image has been shown, inform them

Magicians and Mentalists have always used pre-show impression devices
to secretly obtain information for use during their performances, but
never has it been so easy (or so sneaky). A transparent plastic clipboard
is handed to several members of your audience, in advance of the show.
It bears printed instructions for them to follow when writing their thoughts
on the paper which is held under the low profile clip. They fold and retain
their papers (it's the same paper stock you use in your office printer
or copier - no wax, chemicals, or powders). They can look at the clipboard
from the top, from the bottom, by reflected light, whatever - and they'll
see no trace of their writing. Yet it takes you only a backstage moment
to access every single word several people have written and every drawing
