Block Thru Glass
Houdini walked through a brick wall and David Copperfield through the Great Wall of China and now you too can pass one solid through another. This effect was on the market many years ago and because I have not seen it recently we jazzed it up to bring you a new version. A solid three inch wooden block along with a five and one-half inch square piece of Plexiglas are offered for examination. The audience is told that you will take one of these solids and pass it visibly through the other. Two ten inch high by three and one-quarter inch square beautifully decorated wooden tubes are shown to the audience. The tubes have holes in the front to facilitate the actual movement of the block through the tubes. One tube is stacked on top of the other with the solid piece of Plexiglas in between. The audience is told to both watch and listen as they will actually see and here the block penetrate the glass. The solid block is dropped into the top tube; the audience sees it past the first window. It hits the Plexiglas and they hear it. Finally they see it pass the window in the bottom tube and hear it hit the table. This is wonderful visual magic which is very baffling and yet very, easy to do. It can be performed either parlor or stage.

Duck Bucket
After one of our carpenters saw a performance by David Copperfield he asked me, "How much would one of those DUCK BUCKETS cost?" When I told him the price he clutched his heart and said, "I'll bet you that I can build one of them dang things cheaper!" I said, "Look, there is a lot of work and material in that effect but why not give it a try." About two weeks later, not to my surprise because this guy has 'hands of gold', he walked in to show me his version of the DUCK BUCKET. It was GORGEOUS. It measured about thirteen inches high by about fifteen inches in diameter and it was octagon shaped. It is beautifully finished with a high gloss and is trimmed in brass. Just in case you don't know what effect you do with a DUCK BUCKET, let me list a few: 1: A duck or small animal can be made to vanish by placing into the bucket and then showing it empty. 2: A duck or small animal can be made to appear after showing the bucket empty. 3: One animal can be changed to another. 4: A group of silks can be made to change into a small animal. Cake In Hat Pan
A laugh riot, an amazing mystery, a cleverly constructed prop. An automatic baking a cake in a hat routine. A hat is borrowed and a baking pan is displayed. You test to see if the pan will fit inside of the hat. The pan is now passed to the audience for examination. As the magician is pattering about baking a cake in a hat he has apparently forgotten that the pan is out among the audience. The forgetful magician starts to pour flour, baking soda, and salt into the hat. He then adds milk and eggs and finishes by starting a fire in the hat!! Effect: A lit candle, held at the fingertips of one hand multiplies to two, then three, and finally four. If you wish to use both hands - you could have eight Candles "materialise" for the climax.
